Critiques
The fringe effect on the left of the picture? I don't know what it is but I kind of like it. It feel almost as if this photo has been torn from some book, or like the other half of the photo is missing.
Another thing I like is the overall blurriness of the photo. The effect makes it seem more "life like" and distant, rather than just a clear shot of a face, it implies mystery, and the inability for the viewer to really focus on who the model really is... and know what she is all about, and what she is thinking.
As for the model, you are very pretty my dear, and despite the dark mood of the picture, your light does shine through, making this photo less dark the more I look at it.
Overall a very successful piece I would say.
